A Week of Peace – Finally!

Thanks to Coupdeville’s latest super hero, Captain Inevitable, the city has finally
had a week of actual peace. The abrupt disappearance of Public Nuisance Number One, Puffy
Chicken, has also been attributed to the Captain.
Mayor Gumbo had this to say about the city’s recent streak of good fortune and
solace:
“Captain Inevitable is a Godsend, in my opinion. I intend to give this fine young man
the key to the city!”
Upon receiving the key, Captain Inevitable made a heart-felt speech before disappearing
into thin air.
“Having the key to the city out in public like this is unsafe. I must take it to a
place of safety,” he said before disappearing along with the key.

What?! The key to the city!? *spit* *sputter* That nincompoop took me to the KFC
headquarters and left me there! He said I would ‘be safe here’, and left me
sitting in the middle of the board room, stammering “But, but, but…” like a
complete idiot! *grrrr*
Once my tail feathers grow back after having been plucked by those idiot board members who
kept yelling “Get the grease hot!”, I intend to find Captain Inevitable and
unleash all my righteous fury upon him! The Rubber Band of Righteousness shall smite
thee…from a distance!
Can’t believe that we actually made the likes of you a super hero…
